Welcommon is a clean and friendly hostel with great customer service. It's very close to the center of Athens - within walking distance of many tourist sites and the metro station. The hostel offers affordable prices and has a nice restaurant downstairs for drinks.
Couldn't recommend more.

The staff at this hostel were extremely friendly and helpful, making my Easter stay enjoyable. The location was fantastic, with easy access to public transportation and major attractions. the cleanliness of the rooms and facilities stood out, making for a comfortable stay.
There were a few inconveniences during my stay. the lack of curtains in the room made it difficult to sleep with the early morning sunlight.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hostel! The value for money was fantastic and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, within walking distance of the main attractions and away from the noisy main street. The staff were incredibly friendly and treated me like family.
The only thing that could make the breakfast selection better is if they provided hand towels or paper towels in the bathroom for drying hands.

The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and welcoming. They made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. the room was clean and well-maintained, and the shower was fantastic. I appreciated the convenient location of the hotel, with plenty of bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. It was also easy to walk to the city center or catch the metro. a great experience!
One downside of the hotel was the lack of hand towels or paper towels in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have something to dry my hands after using the bathroom.

I keep coming back because this place has it all: Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, a bar, and even a children's play area. The staff is helpful too - they even helped me find a place to exchange money. Perfect for my city trips!

I had an amazing stay at this hostel. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city center. The staff were incredibly friendly and treated me like family. Despite arriving early, they let me check in right away. The hostel is new and well-maintained. The highlight of my stay was the helpful and kind guy at the counter, Meron.
In terms of cons, I did find it a bit inconvenient that there were no hand towels or paper towels in the bathroom to dry my hands after using the restroom. However, this was a minor issue compared to the overall positive experience I had.

I recently stayed at Welcommon in Athens for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. The hostel is conveniently located just a 6-minute walk from Omonia metro station, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were clean and well-decorated, and I appreciated the option of a private bathroom. The communal spaces and kitchen were spacious and great for self-catering. The reasonable price and 24-hour reception were also big pluses. I highly recommend this hostel.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The variety of intercultural courses and workshops offered gave us a unique opportunity to promote respect for others, collaboration between cultures, and social justice. The knowledgeable and dedicated volunteers from all over the world made these activities engaging and enjoyable for both parents and children. Our kids had an amazing time participating in the guided music sessions, where they could showcase their musical talents and learn from other talented individuals. It was truly a heartwarming experience to see our children connect with people from different backgrounds through the universal language of music.
My children wanted more family-oriented activities specifically catered to their age group. While the hostel provided a variety of engaging workshops, it would be even better to have more options that directly involve and entertain kids.

I chose this hostel for a team retreat because it provides Hostelworld offices worldwide. The facilities were great and conducive for our workshops on climate protection and energy audits for schools. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the location was convenient for exploring Athens. a positive experience.
I would have appreciated a dedicated workspace or a meeting room where we could conduct our work-related activities.
